Digging Diversity 2 – Interim Results

In 2011 I undertook Digging Diversity, a study to examine diversity in UK Archaeology (Cobb 2015, Cobb and Croucher 2016). I repeated this survey in the autumn of 2017, with some extra questions added, and will publish this in full in due course. In the mean time, I have presented findings from Digging Diversity 2 on mental health and the gender pay gap at various conferences and I thought it would be helpful to put these interim results online in the form of the powerpoints from both. They were presented at TAG 2017 in a session on Archaeology and Wellbeing, organised by Tim Darvill, and CIfA Conference 2018 in a workshop about practical steps to diversify the profession organised by the CIfA Equality and Diversity Group.
